The under coating sounds like a good idea. Why isn't something like that done in the factory if it would make the horn sound better?

What about the xover?
My 2 horns look the same except for the color, but the woofers look completely different on the back, and 1 is 8 ohm and the other 16 ohm.
Anyone know what I have here?
